FAQ

CBD in general

What is CBD

CBD is the abbreviation for cannabidiol and is found in cannabis. CBD belongs to the so-called cannabinoids. About 100 substances belong to the group of cannabinoids (CBD, CBC, CBN, CBG, etc). CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid and possesses an extensive range of beneficial properties.

What is THC
THC is the abbreviation for tetrahydrocannabinol and is found in cannabis. THC also belongs to the so-called cannabinoids. THC does have psychoactive or intoxicating effects.
Is Hemp the same as Cannabis or Weed?
Hemp and cannabis are plants that both belong to the same genus, Cannabis Sativa, but are very different from each other. The biggest and best-known difference is the content of THC, the cannabinoid that gives psychoactive effects. Hemp has been cultivated and improved for thousands of years because of its fiber. Hemp is grown to contain as little THC as possible and as much CBD as possible. Hemp has no psychoactive or intoxicating effects. You will not get high from hemp (CBD). Weed is mainly grown to obtain the highest possible concentration of THC. Hemp has the strongest natural fiber in the world and has many different applications. It can be used, among other things, as a raw material for paper, for the textile industry, the car industry and as a building material.
Do you get high from CBD oil?
No. Tetrahydrocannabinol, abbreviated THC, is a psychoactive substance that occurs naturally in cannabis plants (in fiber hemp plants). But because the THC concentrations in hemp plants are so low, it will not have a psychoactive effect on the human body. In the Netherlands, an end product may not contain more than 0.05% THC according to the law.

Instructions for use

How much CBD oil should I use?
There are no universal guidelines when it comes to dosing CBD. The dosage can depend on various factors such as composition of the product, time of taking, possible use of medicines, the reason for which it is used and with individual sensitivity. It is therefore important to build up the dose slowly, by means of microdosing. This means that you start with a low dose and build up very slowly (start low, go slow).
How do I use the SanaCan products?
Take the oil daily, one hour before going to sleep. If you experience that another moment in the day works better for you, then you can hold on to that moment. Preferably around the same time every day. Research and experience shows that the average use of SanaCan for most people is 2 to 3 pipettes per day.
How long can I use the SanaCan products?
The SanaCan products can be used for as long as necessary. As with other substances such as medicines and nutritional supplements, it is possible that your body can build up a tolerance to CBD. As soon as you notice this, you can consider lowering the dose and slowly build up again or temporarily stopping for a few weeks.
Does CBD oil help?
SanaCan products help to find a better sleep, contribute to normal mental performance and contribute to the maintenance of normal muscle function.

  • Anti-inflammatory drugs; medications that have an analgesic and antipyretic effect such as ibuprofen, naproxen and diclofenac (NSAIDs)
  • Statins; cholesterol-lowering medications
*this is not a complete list!
